Lina Levin Gutman immigrated to Israel from Moscow at the age of 15. She immediately began her studies at the Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, continued to earn her Bachelor's degree at the Tel Aviv Academy of Music, participated in numerous projects of the Young Philharmonic Orchestra, and in festivals both in Israel and abroad. She then pursued her degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Upon her return to Israel, Lina played as a freelancer in many orchestras across the country. For six years, she served as the principal violist of the Netanya Kibbutz Chamber Orchestra, performed as a soloist with the orchestra, and participated in chamber music projects on behalf of the orchestra. Subsequently, Lina was accepted as a musician in the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and served for many years as a substitute player in the orchestra. In the last ten years, Lina has been more focused on teaching at various conservatories across the country. She has worked at the Polyphony Conservatory in Nazareth and the conservatory in Kalansawa for joint Arab-Jewish projects, as well as in the conservatories of Kfar Yona, Ma'ale Adumim, Petah Tikva, Rosh HaAyin, Eshkol, and Netivot. Lina had the privilege of studying under Prof. Chaim Taub, Yuri Gandelsman, Gad Laviot, Gad Kogan, and Prof. Donald McInnes.
